The locally crafted noodle contains Fair Trade organic moringa leaf powder, locally grow oyster mushroom powder produced by a local mushroom farm, and Canadian flour, produced by "Wing Lok Flour Factory". Demonstrating a sustainable green production and a solidarity local fair trade model.
The native oyster mushrooms are grown in the rural area of Tuen Mun, where Urban Mushroom utilizes recycled coffee grounds and wood chips as a substrate to cultivate edible oyster mushrooms, which are then processed into oyster mushroom powder. Wing Lok Flour Factory, include the mushroom powder and fair trade organic mooring leaf powder supplied by FAIR CIRCLE, handcrafted the dough to create the noodles. First, the dough is steamed, then baked, resulting in aromatic moringa leaf and oyster mushroom noodles. These noodles are suitable for vegetarians and can also be used for stir-frying or as a side dish.
Noodles made with oyster mushroom powder give a richer flavor than regular noodles and are high in protein and amino acids. The Fair Trade organic moringa leaves from Sri Lanka are rich in nutrients and minerals, highly effective as antioxidants, and help lower blood sugar and cholesterol levels (especially low-density lipoprotein or LDL cholesterol), making them a well-known superfood.
How to Eat: Boil about 400cc (1 to 1.5 bowls) of water. Once boiling, add the noodles to the boiling water for about two minutes until they separate. No need to rinse with cold water; simply place the noodles along with the broth into a bowl and enjoy.
